How much does a Road Dog Vans conversion cost?

The cost of a conversion is dependent on each client’s budget, wants, and needs. While the cost is dependent on the client’s choice of finishes, technology choices, and optional accessories, in general, a conversion (not including the cost of the van) is between 50,000-80,000

How long does the conversion take?

Once you are scheduled and a build contract is executed, a full build typically takes 3.5 to 4 months from the time that we have all of the build components in our warehouse.

What types of vans does Road Dog Vans convert?

We focus on conversions of Ford Transits, Mercedes Sprinters, and Dodge ProMasters but we are open to discussing any vehicle conversion project with you.

Does the client have to purchase the van prior to the conversion or do you sell any pre-finished vans?

We prefer to work with our clients to design and build a van for their specific needs, but we also have new and used built vans for sale.

Do you offer a warranty?

We offer a 1-year/15,000 mile warranty on Road Dog Vans craftsmanship and materials. Components such as fans, fridges and electrical items are subject to the manufacturer's warranty restrictions.

Do you only do vans for dog owners?

No, as avid paddleboarders, mountain bikers, and campers, we understand the needs and wants of anyone wanting to use their van as a home base for travel.

Do you offer financing?

Through agreements with a few of the largest Mercedes and Ford dealers in the Southeast, we have programs that allow clients to finance the cost of a van and the conversion together.
